I'm Paul — I create and produce motion and animation for Fortune 500 brands, and I've been doing it long enough that most of my clients have become long-term partners.
I've worked in-house at JP Morgan Chase and Fidelity Investments, with agencies like We Are Social, BBDO, Anomaly, and Optimist, and as Creative Director of Crisp Motion, a studio I built to take on the kind of enterprise work most boutique shops can't handle.
I'm a craftsperson first. I'm deep in After Effects and Cinema 4D every week, and I care about the details — timing, weight, how a transition feels, the difference between motion that's merely smooth and motion that's actually alive. On bigger projects I build and lead teams of motion designers and animators, set the creative and technical standard, and carry the work from concept through final delivery. I do both because enterprise work demands both: someone who can hold the craft bar and run the project.
The brands I work with — financial services, healthcare, tech, consumer — don't have room for guesswork. The motion has to be clear, on-brand, and actually communicate something, often under tight compliance and review standards. I've directed work for JP Morgan Chase, Fidelity, Nike, Comcast, Puma, Google, Microsoft, smart Europe, Riot Games, Kaiser Permanente, and Johnson & Johnson. Some of those relationships go back five, six, seven years.
